Post 146 Supports the Hopewell High School Sports Program
At the July membership meeting, the post presented a $1,000 donation to the Hopewell High School Boy’s Baseball Program for field and equipment improvements. Adam Capps, the school’s coach and physical education teacher, was on hand to accept the donation and expressed his and the school’s gratitude for the Post’s donation. GO BLUE DEVILS!

Also, if you are aware of any Korean War or earlier veterans who have not visited the memorial in Washington DC., please inform them that the last historical Triangle of Virginia Honor flight is scheduled for 20 October, from 6:30 am to 8:30 pm. All costs, meals, transportation etc. are covered. Since this is the last flight being offered, don’t wait to have your veteran sign up as the spaces will fill up fast. Since being chartered in 1975, our American Legion Post has welcomed VETERANS from all branches of our Armed Forces. Today, we continue to welcome all military personnel who are serving or have served our country. Joining our Post enables veterans to continue serving God, Country and Community.
